Going utilizes the self-balancing technology of a Segway combined with the sophisticated mechanical controls of the Go seat module, providing incredible freedom of movement in locations which were previously inaccessible. It also features a lighting system even for nighttime use. During travel, Going moves steadily according to how far the torso is leaning forward or backward, leaving the hands free to steer the vehicle, and other activities.

TECHNOLOGICAL SEATING

All postural management needs are met by the sophisticated seat adjustment module. Seat adjustments have been carefully developed in collaboration with well-respected physiotherapists, to ensure a similar body position to that of a wheelchair. The cushion is water-repellent, and has an orthopaedic backrest installed on an adjustable support which can be fully reclined. The lower limbs are restrained and supported by the adjustable footrests, while the torso is supported by the handles operating the Segway stabilisers

INTUITIVE AND DYNAMIC

The functional heart of Going lies in the handles that act simultaneously on the GO seat module and the Segway safety systems. They activate the mechanical sensor when a person is "on board" and the electronic sensors that block the quick release of the handlebar. To activate the Segway sensors, simply press the left or right positional release lever.
